Led Zeppelin's "Weasel Road Manager"

Here’s an interesting story of how Led Zeppelin ended up playing the Texas International Pop Festival August 30-Sept 1, purely by chance and the moxie of the promoters. They were not even billed, but somehow ended up on the posters, and Robert Plant heard about it, andsaid people were going to be ripped off because they were not playing.
Later, Plant admitted they were playing, because our  “our weasel road manager said we had to.” I wonder if that  weasel road manager was Richard Coleman?
More on the festival here, and the second link is the article  about how it came about.
